Robby Gordon wins final stage of 2015 Dakar Rally

Robby Gordon earned his 10th career stage victory in Saturday’s final race in Buenos Aires. Gordon’s overall Dakar Rally time of 48 hours, 20 minutes and 5 seconds was good for 19th place. Guerlain Chicherit finished 53rd taking 45th place overall. Only 67 of the original 137 cars that started the Rally on Jan. 4 finished the race. Stage 12 -- Team Toyo in the Top 15 Finishers

Robby Gordon finished 9th with a time of  03:09:26 in Stage 12 and remains 19th in the overall standings.   Guerlain Chicherit followed several minutes behind finishing 11th with a time of 03:12:12.  Saturday's final stage will be the shortest of the 13 stages at 393 kilometers (244 miles), of which only 174 kilometers (108 miles) will be timed.  Good luck and drive well Team Toyo!

Stage 11 -- Team Toyo finishes strong

Guerlain Chicherit and the ZebraBuggy finished 11th with a time of 01:56:01 and Robby Gordon 13th with a time of 01:56:21 after rebounding from a crash. “We crashed into an embankment and spun the car completely around in the air,” said Campbell. “Fortunately we landed backward on all four tires. Robby restarted the car and took off.

Stage 10 -- a Long, Hard day for Team Toyo

Robby Gordon endured another tough day on Wednesday finishing 21st in Stage 10 – a high-altitude course along the Chile-Argentina border. Gordon remains 20th overall in the Rally, 7 hours, 41 minutes and 25 seconds behind Al-Attiyah. Guerlain and the ZebraBuggy came in 67th after stopping 4 times for repairs: 3 times to change the steering pump again, once to change the clutch.

Robby Gordon finishes 9th in Stage 9

Robby Gordon and navigator Johnny Campbell finished 9th in the Stage 9 course that presented many challenges with dust and complex navigation. Gordon and Campbell finished 35 minutes and 59 seconds behind winner Nani Roma of Spain – the defending Dakar Rally champion. Guerlain Chicherit fought his way through finishing 18th. Great job Team Toyo!
