When and how did you get into racing?
I got into racing when I was 13 years old. It all started when my dad took me to a dry lakebed so I could start practicing car control on dirt. He wanted me to become a rally driver. Soon after, I became heavily hooked on drifting watching Japanese videos and an animated-series known as Initial D. Instead of rallying, I chose drifting because at the time, it was the cheaper alternative. We then attended a few drifting events that were local. The drifting community would get noticeably bigger every event. When D1 Grand Prix was held for the first time in the US, I was a part of it and that was when my professional career started.

Most memorable moment in your career:
When I flew off the mountain during a race at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. I thought I was going to die. My dad was sitting right next to me as the co-driver. He also thought we were going to die. It was scary, but a great memorable moment.

If you could have anyone as your co-driver for just one race, who would you pick and why?
Jessica Alba. Who wouldn’t pick her? She’s hot! If not her, then Petter Solberg. He is a successful WRC champion (2003) and I assume I could learn a lot from him.
