Information on Shipping and Storage

Shipping: At the time of delivery, and before accepting receipt of the tire, inspect all surfaces, including the interior, for any cuts, scratches, abrasions, or other damage. Note any and all such damages on the carrier's bill of lading.

Do not use sharp knives to remove packaging from this tire as you may accidentally cut the tire in the process.

DO NOT RACE ON ANY TIRE THAT HAS BEEN DAMAGED IN ANY MANNER. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MOUNT ANY DAMAGED TIRE. FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.

Storage: The useful life of a tire, whether mounted or dismounted, is greatly affected by storage conditions. YOUR FAILURE TO OBEY THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS WILL GREATLY AFFECT THE INTEGRITY AND USAGE LIFE OF THE TIRE, WHICH MAY CAUSE THE TIRE TO FAIL PREMATURELY, WHICH CAN LEAD TO SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH.

Store in a clean, dry environment away from direct sunlight and from sharp objects that can damage the tire.

Never allow any caustic chemicals or petroleum-based products (oil, grease, etc.) to come in contact with any tire. This includes tire dressings of any type.

Keep this product away from ozone-generating machines such as generators, electric motors, and welding machines. Ozone is harmful to rubber and will cause premature deterioration and cracking of the rubber.

During the "off-season", deflate the tires for storage. Store them on their side. Observe the requirements shown above.

Allowable storage temperatures are between 40 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
