Our Technical Center in Itami, Japan, is one of the most advanced in the world. It houses state-of-the-art equipment for design, development, and testing, including the Flat-Trac II test machine and the super-computer based simulation system that's the heart of our T-Mode technology.
Racing is a big part of our test program. We race everywhere from some of America's toughest tracks to the Dakar Rally in some of the roughest parts of South America.
It's not easy to build tires this good. But at Toyo, we're driven to perform, and you can see it in our tires.
Our Miyazaki Proving Ground includes a track where we test bus, light truck, and passenger car tires for high-speed performance, steering stability, endurance, and noise.
Our Saroma Proving Ground is on the island of Hokkaido, which is known for its icy winters. Here, our engineers test tires for traction, braking, steering response, and other key factors in severe winter conditions.
