Johnny Greaves recorded his first win of this season in the Pro-4 race on Sunday while driving his #22 Monster Energy / Toyota / Toyo Tires Pro-4 truck to victory. Equipped with Toyo Tires’ versatile Open Country® R/T Trail tires, Greaves recorded his 104th career Pro-4 win.
In addition, Ryan Beat and his #51 Bilstein / Toyo Tires / Lucas Oil / Chevrolet Pro-2 truck continued their success from last season, securing a win on Sunday on Open Country® C/T tires. Securing the third Team Toyo win on Sunday was Lorenzo Bonacci in the Pro Buggy class, driving his #33 Bomber / Toyo Tires buggy on Open Country® A/T III tires.
"It was a crazy race with a lot of contact and a couple of incidents early on,” said Johnny Greaves. “I rolled the truck twice but managed to recover, caught the leader with two turns to go, made the pass, and took the Pro-4 win."
"It felt great to pop off a Pro-2 win in the first weekend of the season,” said Ryan Beat. “I'm excited to keep improving my results, and with my crew and setup, my driving will only get better as the season goes on."
“After Team Toyo’s incredible success in the COR series last year, it is great to see the team carry over that momentum into the new racing season,” said Stan Chen, sr. manager, events, sponsorships and motorsports, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. “Tallying three class wins in the season opener is a testament to the outstanding performances of our drivers and the versatility of Toyo Tires’ products to record each win on a different tire.”
The AMSOIL Championship Off-Road will travel to Antigo, Wisconsin for the Antigo Off-Road National on June 8-9.
